Direct Support Professional (DSP) - $16.00-18.00-/hr + $1,000 Signing Bonus (potential based on hours worked) Please note, this specific opening requires fluency in American Sign Language. Flexible Schedules | Weekly Pay | Paid Training | Growth Opportunities | Team Environment Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As a DSP, you will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently. What You'll Do Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties (case managers, etc.) as needed Complete documentation and maintaining schedules Complete ongoing training and professional development Schedule Details Monday & Friday 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM Comprehensive Benefits Flexible schedules (full-time and part-time opportunities) Weekly pay Bonus opportunities (e.g., referral bonus) Paid onboarding & training Opportunities for advancement & career growth Scholarship Program Invitations to company events & DSP community activities Medical, dental, life insurance, and 401(k) eligibility based on hours worked Requirements Must be 18 years or older High school diploma/GED Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks Comfortable supporting shy individuals and building rapport Ability to drive for community outings (required) Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required — we provide paid training and support.
