As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals with diverse needs. - Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with daily living activities
- Assist with behavior management and implement strategies to promote positive behaviors
- Administer medication according to prescribed guidelines
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed
- Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Support individuals with dementia care needs
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding confidentiality of patient information
- Drive individuals to appointments, activities, and community outings
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals
