Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary. Maintain accurate care plans, document patient progress, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy. Help clients with medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper timing and dosage. Provide emotional support, companionship, and social engagement to enhance residents' quality of life. Skills Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques and dementia or Alzheimer's care practices. Proficiency in cleaning duties to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for clients. Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism. Ability to operate medical equipment like Hoyer lifts, blood pressure monitors, and other patient monitoring devices. Familiarity with care plans, medication administration protocols, and resident's rights regulations. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or hospice care experience are a plus.
