Under the supervision of the Training Manager and QDDPs, DSPs assist individuals in developing life skills, achieving personal goals, maintaining health and safety, and participating fully in their communities. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide person-centered support in home and community settings. Assist with personal care, daily living skills, household tasks, and community integration. Support individuals in achieving goals outlined in their Individual Program Plan (IPP). Administer medications and assist with health-related needs as trained. Collect data and complete accurate documentation, including shift notes and reports. Build positive relationships with individuals, families, and team members. Maintain confidentiality and follow agency policies and procedures. Attend and maintain all required trainings, certifications, and competency requirements. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Basic computer and mobile technology skills. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and acceptable driving record. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
