10:00am-5:00pm Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks aligned with care plans, ensuring dietary needs are met while promoting healthy eating habits. Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and adhering to infection control procedures. Engage residents in social activities and community outings to foster socialization and enhance quality of life. Follow individualized care plans developed by healthcare professionals to deliver consistent, person-centered support. Skills Proven experience in group home settings, assisted living facilities, or home & community care environments. Knowledge of patient care techniques including assisting with ADLs, patient monitoring, and dementia or Alzheimer's care. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs. Strong observational skills for patient safety, including patient observation and vital signs monitoring. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members, residents, families, and healthcare providers effectively.
