Direct Support Professional (DSP) — Norfolk, NE $18.00 - $18.50 an hour | Full-time & Part-time available Direct Support Professionals at ILC help people live fuller, more independent lives through personalized coaching, daily support, and real human connection. Vocational:
Monday to Friday during the day
Residential:
Evenings, weekends, and overnights — weekend availability is required
Supported Services:
Days, evenings, and weekends What you'll do Provide personalized coaching and assistance with daily tasks Help people understand and exercise their rights Support individuals in achieving personal goals and building social connections Coordinate community outings — museums, parks, sporting events, and more Encourage hobbies like painting, swimming, and singing Assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living Support medication administration and medical-related needs Provide transportation for those you support
For Supported Services:
coach individuals in finding and maintaining competitive employment Complete documentation at the end of each shift Some assignments involve physical support such as assisting individuals to and from wheelchairs. Paid training is provided to prepare you for all aspects of the role.
