Integrity Supports & Services (ISS) is looking for energetic, dependable, and positive Direct Support Professionals to join our Community Inclusion team! This is not a sit-around-and-watch job. Our participants deserve staff who are present, engaged, creative, and excited to help them experience their community, build relationships, develop skills, and have meaningful days. One day might include bowling, volunteering, shopping, visiting a museum, exploring a community event, working toward an individual goal, or trying something completely new. Other times, you'll help create engaging activities at our center based on what participants enjoy. If you're someone who can make an ordinary day better, we want to meet you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Support adults with developmental disabilities in living active and meaningful lives Get participants OUT into the Omaha community Participate in community outings, events, recreation, volunteering, shopping, and other experiences Create and participate in fun and meaningful activities at our center Learn what matters to each participant—their interests, preferences, goals, strengths, and support needs Encourage independence, choice, confidence, socialization, and skill development Actively engage with participants throughout the day Help participants work toward their individual goals Provide transportation and community support as assigned Complete required documentation accurately and on time Follow participant-specific plans, safety protocols, behavioral supports, and ISS policies Work together with your team to make each day successful

We can't teach someone to care. PAY $20.00

•22.00 per hour Starting pay is based on experience, qualifications, and ability to meet the responsibilities of the position.

EXPERIENCE

Previous DSP or developmental disability experience is great—but the right personality, work ethic, dependability, and attitude matter to us. Experience in caregiving, healthcare, education, childcare, behavioral health, recreation, coaching, human services, or other people-focused positions may also be a great fit. WHY ISS?
