We provide essential services such as independent living skills training, information and referral, peer support, and advocacy to foster personal growth, self-determination, and community inclusion. Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Employment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support individuals with disabilities in achieving their employment goals, providing mentorship, coaching, and case management. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help clients develop skills, navigate workforce development programs, and access community resources to lead more independent lives. Duties Assist individuals with disabilities in identifying employment opportunities aligned with their interests and abilities Provide coaching on workplace skills, social interactions, and self-advocacy to promote successful employment experiences Develop personalized employment plans in collaboration with clients and community partners Conduct interviews, assessments, and ongoing evaluations to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed Facilitate training sessions on workforce development topics Support clients from culturally diverse backgrounds and underserved communities through mentoring and tailored interventions Maintain detailed case management records and communicate effectively with clients, employers, and team members Experience Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism in social services or related fields preferred Familiarity with workforce development programs and community resources for people with disabilities preferred Strong writing skills for documentation, reports, and client communication Experience working with culturally diverse populations and underserved communities to promote inclusivity preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for case management and training purposes Join us to make a meaningful difference by empowering individuals with disabilities to reach their employment goals!
