NOT ONLY

Spanish. MUST have a current and valid New Jersey CHHA License. MUST have a current CHHA School Certificate. MUST own a reliable vehicle. MUST have a valid driver's license in good standing. MUST be reliable and dependable. MUST be very loving, compassionate, patient, and respectful toward clients. MUST be hardworking and take pride in providing quality care. JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) with DT Healthcare of New Jersey, you will provide compassionate, non-medical personal care and support to clients in their homes. The CHHA will help clients maintain their safety, dignity, comfort, independence, and quality of life while following the client's established Plan of Care and instructions from the supervising nurse. You will be an important part of the client's daily life and are expected to treat every client with patience, kindness, dignity, and respect.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist clients with bathing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene . Assist with dressing, undressing, and personal care . Assist clients with ambulation, mobility, positioning, and transfers as permitted by the care plan. Prepare meals and assist with feeding and hydration when needed. Provide companionship and emotional support . Assist with light housekeeping related to the client's care, including laundry, dishes, changing linens, and maintaining a safe environment . Provide medication reminders according to the established care plan and applicable requirements. Accompany clients to appointments, errands, shopping, or activities when assigned. Use your own vehicle when transportation is part of the client's care plan. Observe and report changes in the client's condition, behavior, safety, or needs to the RN Supervisor . Follow the client's Plan of Care and all DT Healthcare policies and procedures. Maintain client privacy, dignity, confidentiality, and personal rights. Complete required documentation accurately and on time. Maintain a professional, respectful, and positive relationship with clients and their families. Communicate effectively with the client, family members, RN Supervisor, and DT Healthcare office staff.

Qualifications:

Active and valid CHHA license in the state of New Jersey. Current CHHA school certificate. Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required. Own a reliable vehicle with a valid driver's license in good standing. Reliable, dependable, patient, compassionate, respectful, honest, professional, punctual, and able to work independently. Dedicated to providing excellent client care with a genuine desire to help others.

Pay:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
