Male Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Part-Time Opportunity Ameriwell Care is recognized as a leading support agency in New Jersey for adults with developmental disabilities. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Male Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Farmingdale, New Jersey . As a DSP, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our adult clients with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities:
Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, to our adult clients Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, medication management, and household chores Support clients in developing daily living skills, such as communication, social, and adaptive skills Encourage and participate in recreational and leisure activities to promote socialization and overall well-being Maintain accurate records of client care and daily activities Collaborate with other team members to ensure effective client care and support
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in direct support or similar field preferred Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Proof of
