This opportunity is perfect for compassionate, self-motivated, and energetic individual looking to make a difference by helping an individual to achieve their potential and integrate him/her into the community with dignity.
Location:
Camden County (Haddon Township/Cherry Hill) - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 11:00am-2:00pm (Camden County), NJ Flexible hours approx. 9-10 hrs. weekly
Rate of Pay:
$24.00 -$30 per hr.
Please note:
Some individuals may have behaviors therefore we provide Crisis Training to prepare you for this job, however it is UNPAID.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one support to an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Assist with daily activities and personal goals, promoting independence and community engagement. Support participation in small outings and community-based activities. Create and maintain a positive, person-centered approach to care. Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals at all times.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a good driving record. Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening. Ability to work legally in the United States. Comfortable with community-based support and engaging in local outings. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Person-centered mindset with a positive attitude and open-mindedness. Passionate about working with individuals with disabilities and promoting independence.
