In this vital role, you will provide personalized in-home care, assisting individual with daily activities and health needs while promoting independence and well-being. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure the patient receives the highest quality of care in a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. This paid position offers an opportunity to work closely with n individual with disabilities. Responsibilities Assist patient with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Support medication administration following prescribed instructions while maintaining strict adherence to home healthcare regulations and HIPAA confidentiality standards Utilize patient transfer methods safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts to prevent injury Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe living environment for clients Skills Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or geriatrics in home healthcare or nursing home settings Ability to perform patient personal care assistance with compassion and professionalism Skilled in taking vital signs accurately and recognizing signs of medical emergencies requiring immediate attention such as CPR or first aid response Familiarity with home health care assistance techniques including medication administration, catheter care Excellent client communication skills to build trust and effectively coordinate with patients' family and healthcare teams Physical capability for heavy lifting when necessary and experience working with mobility aids like Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods Knowledge of home & community care regulations to ensure compliance during service delivery This role is ideal for motivated caregivers eager to provide exceptional patient-centered care in a dynamic environment.
