Your Responsibilities
Build Meaningful Relationships
Provide person-centered support that encourages independence, confidence, and personal choice.
Develop positive, respectful relationships with individuals while promoting dignity and inclusion.
Encourage participation in daily routines, hobbies, recreational activities, and community events.
Support Daily Home Life
Assist with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, housekeeping, laundry, and other activities of daily living.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable residential environment.
Promote healthy routines that support each individual's well-being and independence.
Promote Safety & Well-Being
Monitor individuals' physical, emotional, and behavioral needs while responding appropriately to changing situations.
Follow individualized support plans and agency procedures to ensure quality care.
Safely transport individuals to appointments, recreational outings, and community activities using agency vehicles when assigned.
Keep Services Running Smoothly
Complete electronic documentation, daily service notes, medication records, and required reports accurately and on time.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, families, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary team members.
Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on providing exceptional residential services.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid New Jersey driver's license in good standing with no more than five (5) motor vehicle points.
Demonstrated employment stability preferred, including at least one (1) year with a previous employer.
Ability to successfully complete all required background checks, screenings, and agency onboarding requirements.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently while demonstrating professionalism, flexibility, and sound judgment.
