Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide exceptional in-home care to clients with diverse needs. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will deliver personalized assistance that promotes independence, safety, and comfort. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure each client receives the highest quality of care in their own environment. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring supportive care, including seniors, those with disabilities, or individuals receiving hospice services. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility to enhance their comfort and dignity Monitor and observe patients' conditions regularly, recording vital signs like blood pressure, pulse, and temperature accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring proper documentation in compliance with home healthcare regulations and HIPAA standards for patient confidentiality Support clients with medical procedures including catheter care, wound dressing changes, and assisting with medical equipment like Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods Provide companionship and emotional support while engaging clients in meaningful activities tailored to their needs, including dementia or Alzheimer's care and end-of-life support Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation to promote overall well-being Communicate effectively with clients and their families about care plans and progress, ensuring clarity and compassion at all times Experience Prior experience working in home healthcare settings is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS) including CPR certification Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is advantageous Familiarity with EVV systems for accurate documentation of patient care activities Proven ability to perform patient transfers safely using techniques such as Hoyer lifts or other transfer methods Strong understanding of home health care regulations and compliance standards, including HIPAA requirements for maintaining patient confidentiality Previous live-in employment experience or long-term caregiving roles are a plus Join us if you're passionate about providing high-quality home health care assistance!
