Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate, dedicated Caregivers to provide in-home assistance to our cherished seniors and veterans. This vital role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals who need support with daily activities, health monitoring, and companionship. As well as keep them at home where they are most comfortable. As a Home Health Aide you will deliver personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being within the comfort of their homes. Your energetic approach and genuine care will help create a positive environment where our clients feel valued and supported every day. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary. Monitor patients' health by observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while ensuring proper food safety and hygiene standards. Reminders and supervision for medications following prescribed care plans and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support clients with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment. Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation, especially for those with dementia or Alzheimer's disease. Follow all safety protocols during patient transfers or heavy lifting activities to prevent injury and ensure client safety. Requirements Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly desirable. Knowledge of caring for elderly disabled Certifications such as Certified Nursing Assistant, or Certified Home Health Aide are preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided. Expired license okay. We can put you on the path to reinstate or renew Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans tailored to each client's needs. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and family members. Physical stamina for activities involving heavy lifting or assisting with mobility; experience with Hoyer lifts is a plus. Some lifting is required. Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care for individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities. $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
