ALAY Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable Spanish-Speaking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities throughout New Jersey.

$21.40-$30.00 per hour

Location:

Various locations throughout New Jersey Job Responsibilities Provide compassionate, person-centered support to individuals with developmental disabilities. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care and daily routines. Provide companionship, mentorship, and emotional support. Support individuals in participating in community activities and appointments. Assist with behavioral support and implementation of individual support plans. Provide medication assistance/administration as permitted by training and applicable requirements. Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and care team members. Accurately document services and daily activities. Follow all company, NJ DDD, and client-specific policies and procedures. Use the required Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system to accurately clock in and out of shifts. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Fluent in Spanish and English preferred/required based on client needs. Valid CPR/First Aid Certification. Valid Driver's License. Reliable transportation preferred, especially for positions requiring community support. Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral needs, caregiving, or healthcare is preferred. Must be dependable, professional, compassionate, and able to work independently. Must successfully complete required background checks, fingerprinting, drug screening, and other applicable NJ DDD requirements. Why Join ALAY Home Care?
