DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL

(DSP) (PT/FT) Our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) assist adults with daily activities, socialization skills, community visits, and campus events while moving forward collaboratively toward meeting their Individualized Service Plans (ISPs). Our DSPs maintain ongoing, accurate documentation of these milestones in an effort to share progress of agreed upon goals and objectives. FT/PT positions.

Education/Skills/Experience Needed:

High School Diploma or its equivalent i.e. GED Ability to read and write English Ability to lift and assist individuals if needed Strong interpersonal and communication skills Compassionate and patient demeanor Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Some of your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintaining a good working relationship and communicating effectively with co-workers Conducting yourself in a manner consistent with program policies and procedures Maintaining a good rapport with participants. Always demonstrating enthusiasm and respect. Following daily schedules. Consistently engaging and taking part in activities and events. Encouraging participant communication and socialization. Completing required participant related documentation daily. Completing our required, free training and certification requirements set forth by The Department of Developmental Disabilities. Pay:

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
