DSP (Direct Support Professional)

Job Overview :

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. Supporting individuals in participating in community activities, social events, recreational outings, and educational programs to promote community integration and inclusion.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• High School Diploma
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects or assist clients with mobility limitations
• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems for recording client information
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others Responsibilities Provide compassionate care and support to individuals in a group home or assisted living setting.

Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Monitor and document patient observations to ensure their well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety standards. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.
