Job Description
Kindly Direct Care is seeking a dependable Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one in-home position in Vineland or Buena, NJ. About This Opportunity The individual needs a DSP who is comfortable providing hands-on assistance while promoting dignity, privacy, choice, and as much independence as possible. Candidates should apply only if they are comfortable with the personal-care responsibilities listed below. Responsibilities May Include Assist with dressing, bathing, ADLs, and all personal care. Individual has special equipment, including a hospital bed, shower chair, wheelchair, and walker. Support daily routines and encourage the individual to participate as independently as possible. Provide one-to-one supervision, companionship, and safety support. Assist with community participation, errands, appointments, and meaningful activities as applicable. Follow individualized care, behavioral, medical, and safety instructions within DSP scope and training. Observe for and promptly report changes or concerns. Complete required service documentation, timekeeping, and communication accurately and on time. Qualifications Comfortable providing the hands-on personal care specifically required by this assignment. Reliable, respectful, patient, and attentive to safety. Able to follow detailed instructions and maintain professional boundaries. Prior DSP, HHA, CNA, PCA, home care, behavioral health, or disability-services experience required for this assignment. Able to meet the physical requirements of the assignment as discussed during screening.
