Customized In-Home Living Support NEEDED! Cornucopia Adult & Family Services - 2.1 Albuquerque, NM Job Details Part-time $16 an hour 16 hours ago Qualifications Transporting special needs passengers Caregiving English Assisting with ADLs High school diploma or GED Driver's License Meal preparation Personal transportation assistance Chauffeur driving Full Job Description Join a thriving nonprofit organization with room to grow! Shift varies based on individual's needs. Work with independent individuals who live on their own or with roommates. Some of the tasks include assisting individuals with household management (laundry, cleaning), needs outside the home (public transportation or other community services), provide support in in the development of friendships and other relationships, meal preparation and feeding, assisting with medication, transporting, daily documentation, assisting with goals and outcomes for each participant, taking individuals on outings, etc.
EXPERIENCE
- Prefer experience with DD Waiver and/or training requirements, but will train.
- Prefer one (1) year of experience working with adults & elderly with disabilities assisting with daily living activities within adult day hab and/or residential facility, but will train.
EDUCATION
Required HS Diploma orGED. OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a valid New Mexico Driver's license.
- Must be able to transport participants in your personal vehicle if necessary.
- Must have valid auto insurance and registration.
- Must be able to operate personal and/or company's vehicles used for transportation of program participants.
- Must pass COR, fingerprint investigation, and driving record.
- Must adhere to a drug-free workplace.
- No DUI/DWI in the past seven (7) years.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
