Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation Support clients in developing social skills and participating in community outings using standard passenger cars Implement behavior management strategies tailored to individual needs to promote positive behaviors Facilitate communication for clients with speech or language challenges, including the use of American Sign Language when applicable Provide transportation assistance to appointments, activities, or community events using personal or agency vehicles Monitor client progress and document observations accurately in compliance with program guidelines Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent support and effective care plans Qualifications Experience working with individuals with autism, neurodevelopmental disorders, or developmental disabilities preferred Ability to operate a standard passenger car safely and responsibly Background in home & community care or caregiving roles is highly desirable Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Familiarity with assisting clients with ADLs and supporting intellectual disabilities support strategies Personal transportation assistance capabilities to facilitate client outings and appointments Compassionate attitude with a commitment to empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve independence Background check required Inspiring Independence & Opportunity LLC is a Support Brokerage Team that provides services to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
