Abilities, Inc. at The Viscardi Center is a nonprofit organization located on Long Island that prepares adolescents and adults with disabilities for entry into the workforce through job training, placement services, career counseling, and much more. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in our Day Hab Program, you will provide support and supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities out in the community.

Responsibilities include:

Driving individuals to and from home, to community activities, at restaurants, volunteer sites, parks, and other recreational trips. Must be able to provide assistance with personal care, as necessary. Complete paperwork accurately and timely (daily, weekly or monthly as required). No weekends or evenings! Education & Experience:

A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent and prior experience working with adults with disabilities required. The position requires computer proficiency. Valid NYS Driver License required.
