Job Description

We are seeking a kind, reliable, and responsible aide to provide daily care and support for a young man with cerebral palsy. This home-based position is a perfect entry point to explore an interest in healthcare or start a rewarding career as a nursing assistant while making a meaningful difference in someone's daily life. Daily Responsibilities Administer oral medications. Assist with putting on a body jacket. Transfer the individual in and out of a wheelchair (Hoyer lift use is required; full training will be provided). Provide assistance with dressing and personal hygiene. Help with feeding meals (no cooking required). Support activities and community outings, which include trips to the mall, movies, reading books, playing video games, and trips to NYC. Requirements Must speak English. Professional, dependable, compassionate, and patient. Comfortable working with someone in a wheelchair. No prior experience required; comprehensive on-the-job training is provided. An interest in healthcare or prior experience as a nursing assistant is a plus.

Available Shifts Day Hours:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM

PM Evening Hours:

Monday to Wednesday, 4:00 PM

•8:00

PM Pay:

$28.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0

•40.0 per week
