What You'll Do as a Home Health Aide Every client is different, but your role will focus on helping individuals remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Your responsibilities may include:

Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Helping with activities of daily living (ADLs) Providing mobility and transfer assistance Preparing meals and assisting with daily routines Providing medication reminders as permitted Performing light housekeeping related to client care Offering companionship and emotional support Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition Completing required care documentation Following the client's established plan of care What We're Looking For To join the Rockaway Home Care team, you should have: A valid New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Certificate Authorization to work in the United States A dependable and professional approach to caregiving Compassion and respect for the individuals you support Strong communication skills Previous home care experience preferred, but not required Why Work With Rockaway Home Care?
