Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, particularly for individuals with disabilities or those requiring long-term care. Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide support with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Help clients with mobility and physical activities, including lifting when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Document patient care activities accurately in medical records and maintain confidentiality. Support individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed. Experience Previous experience in home health, long-term care, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with medical documentation practices is advantageous. Experience working with people with disabilities is a plus. A compassionate approach to patient care and the ability to build rapport with clients are essential qualities for this role.
