Job Description

Overview We are seeking compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSP). In this role, you will provide direct care and daily support to individuals who may need assistance with personal care, daily living activities, community participation, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment. Responsibilities Provide direct assistance with daily personal care and hygiene. Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal needs as appropriate. Support individuals with mobility and daily activities. Prepare meals and assist with eating when necessary. Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction. Assist with household tasks and maintaining a clean environment. Encourage independence and participation in daily activities. Follow individual care/service plans and agency procedures. Monitor and report changes in behavior, health, or personal needs. Protect the privacy, dignity, and confidentiality of the individuals we support. Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, families, and other care team members. Follow all required health and safety procedures. Attend required training and staff meetings. Experience Compassionate and respectful attitude. Reliable and punctual. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Ability to follow instructions and established care plans. Previous experience as a PCA, HHA, DSP, caregiver, personal care worker, or healthcare aide is preferred. Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or other support needs is a plus. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position. Must meet applicable employment and screening requirements. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
