Sleepy Hallow, Ossining, Briar Cliff Manor, Croton-on Hudson, Buchanan, Peekskill, Cortlandt Manor, Montrose, Verplanck & Crugers. Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department approved HHA Training Program or Equivalency. Sixth (6) grade reading comprehension level. Writing and math skill level to the extent necessary for the successful and safe performance of required job functions. Have a car and valid driver's license. Be available Monday - Friday (8:00 am - 8:00 pm) some weekends. Be willing to work on multiple short-hour cases (minimum 3 cases daily, mileage reimbursement offered). Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Physical Requirements Full range of body motion, including handling and lifting adult clients. Standing and walking for extensive periods, as well as bending and climbing stairs. Commonly lifts, carries, and maneuvers items weighing more than 50 lbs.
