We are seeking a Resident Care Aide - RCA with experience working with an elderly population. Full time; primarily day shift; 7am to 3pm including some evenings and Every Other Weekend. $17.69 per hour with weekend and night differential. Free parking on-site. RCA Qualifications:
High School diploma or the equivalent. One year of experience working with PCA/HHA preferred. Skilled in speaking, reading and writing English. Ability to respond appropriately in emergencies. Resident Care Aid -
RCA Job Summary :
Provide care necessary for residents to maintain their independence and to support activities of daily living and health care needs. Assist residents on medication program. Light housekeeping in resident rooms. Assist residents in laundry and bed making. Encourage and facilitate residents in social and recreational activities. Greet and screen visitors; answer and direct all phones calls. Provide first aid and other treatments as assigned. Fill out records and communication logs. RCA Physical Requirements:
Manual dexterity. Stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs. Ability to assist residents with physical movement. Able to push wheelchairs and carts and to carry trays.
