Direct Support Professional - Overnight Sleep Shift Support, Empower, and Make a Difference Every Night Join The Arc Columbia-Saratoga, formerly Coarc (Columbia County Arc), as a Direct Support Professional and help empower people we support with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live meaningful, fulfilling lives. In this overnight sleep shift position, you'll provide a safe, supportive presence throughout the night and assist people we support with their morning routines, including preparing breakfast and helping them get ready for the day.

The base pay for this position ranges from $17.00-$17.25 per hour , depending on the assigned worksite. Select worksites also offer an additional $2.00 per hour overnight stipend , which is added to the base hourly rate. All overnight sleep shifts include paid sleep hours in a residential support setting. Key Responsibilities Support people we support in making choices and decisions that promote independence and self-advocacy. Provide overnight supervision while maintaining a safe, comfortable, and supportive home environment. Assist people we support with personal care, morning routines, breakfast preparation, and household tasks, as needed. Respond appropriately to emergencies or the needs of people we support during overnight hours. Foster a respectful, person-centered environment that promotes dignity and well-being. Complete required documentation and communicate important information to incoming staff. Follow all agency policies, required training, safety procedures, and documentation requirements.
