Job Description

We are hiring a caring, dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support two individuals with autism and developmental disabilities in Orange County. Ideally, we would love to find someone who can support both individuals, but we are also open to someone who is a great fit for either role. One individual is a 16-year-old female in Monroe who needs more hands-on support with daily routines, personal care, and mobility. The other is a 50-year-old female in Highland Hills who is more independent and would benefit from companionship, encouragement, and support throughout her week. We are looking for someone who: Is caring, patient, and dependable Enjoys helping others and building relationships Has strong communication skills Can work independently Has good judgment and professionalism Has caregiving or human services experience (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
Background check and fingerprinting required Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to provide valid work authorization documents
Schedule:
Monroe, NY 10950
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday:
Flexible/all day availability No driver's license required Highland Hills, NY Approximately 10 AM - 3 PM, about 3 days per week No weekends No driver's license required Candidates interested in working with both individuals are especially encouraged to apply.
