We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic School Counselor to join our educational team. As a School Counselor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students. Your responsibilities will include providing guidance, counseling services, and creating a safe and nurturing environment for students to thrive.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address students' academic, personal, social, and career development needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to identify and address students' behavioral or academic concerns.
• Develop and implement comprehensive school counseling programs that promote student success and well-being.
• Assist students in setting academic goals, exploring career pathways, and developing essential life skills.
• Provide crisis intervention and support services to students facing emotional or behavioral challenges.
• Organize workshops and seminars on topics such as bullying prevention, study skills, mental health awareness, and college readiness.
• Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions, assessments, and student progress.
• Stay informed about current trends in education, child development, and counseling techniques.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Counseling or a related field.
• Certification or licensure as a School Counselor (if required by the state).
• Experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings.
• Knowledge of theater, childcare, tutoring, daycare, childhood development, first aid, classroom management, Christian counseling is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in counseling practices.
