The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving and a genuine passion for helping others. Exact pay is based on experience. Current certifications in DSP training, First Aid and CPR is mandatory. If you have these things, we want to talk with you asap! Afternoon and midnight availability is a requirement. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing (if needed), dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide patient care and support in a group home or assisted living environment. Monitor clients' vital signs and overall health status, reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with medication administration as per prescribed guidelines. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and enhance their quality of life. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks. Support clients with mobility needs, including the use of Hoyer lifts when necessary. Document patient observations and report any concerns regarding behavior or health changes. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive living environment. Requirements Valid Driver's License and a high school diploma or equivalent. This is a must! We are ONLY looking to hire those who can legally drive and have valid insurance. Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a caregiving role is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable. Familiarity crisis intervention and/ or conflict resolution is desired Ability to perform lifting (if needed) as required for client mobility assistance. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment. Understanding of patient monitoring techniques and experience in home health or long-term care settings is advantageous.
