Seeking an experienced, self-motivated caregiver to provide compassionate, attentive care to a veteran in his home.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, with availability between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Responsibilities include close supervision, especially in the bathroom; assistance with toileting, incontinence care, dressing, and transfers; fall prevention; meal preparation; and reminders to drink fluids. The veteran uses a rollator, is hard of hearing and vision impaired, and prefers soft foods and finger foods. He enjoys conversation and sitting outside on the deck. A medium-sized dog is in the home. The veteran smokes, so caregivers must monitor closely to help prevent burns.
