Job Description
Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Home Health Aide (HHA), where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance to individuals in their homes, supporting their health, safety, and independence. This position offers an energizing opportunity to work closely with diverse populations, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those recovering from illness or injury. Your expertise will help foster a safe, comfortable environment while promoting dignity and quality of life. Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care by assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients' health status by recording vital signs and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals promptly Assist with medication administration following prescribed protocols and maintaining accurate medical documentation in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Support clients with specialized needs including Alzheimer's care, dementia care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or memory impairments Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, catheters, and other assistive devices to ensure safe patient handling and mobility Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks like laundry, cleaning, meal preparation, and ensuring infection control standards are met in accordance with HIPAA regulations Document all patient interactions accurately within medical records while respecting patient confidentiality Qualifications Proven experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA), nursing assistant, or in a similar caregiving role within home health or long-term care settings Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and basic nursing skills such as catheter care and CPR certification Experience working with seniors, people with disabilities, or those requiring memory or dementia care is highly desirable Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and medical records management Ability to work independently while following healthcare plans and protocols diligently Compassionate attitude combined with excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and their families Valid HHA certification or equivalent state licensing; CPR certification required Join us in providing exceptional home health services that empower individuals to live healthier, happier lives.
