Position Overview:
Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) will assist adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities. Our individuals need assistance in their homes with chores, hygiene, and general upkeep of the home. Also, getting out in the community for groceries, banking and recreational activities. Our Support Associates (DSPs) are responsible for providing supervision, support and assistance to consumers (individuals) as prescribed within the Individual Service Plan/Individual Program Plan to increase independence and quality of life.
Position Requirements:
We are in need of experienced, compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals. Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred, but not required. These positions require weekends and flexibility in order to effectively manage your assigned site/sites. We work exclusively for adults with I/DD living community-based housing. The preferred candidate should be flexible, organized, and a self-starter with good Leadership qualities. Current CPR/FA, Medication Administration is a plus, however we will offer training to the selected candidates. A High School diploma or GED is preferred. Current valid driver's license and automobile insurance meeting Ohio's minimum standards. Ability to maintain CPR and First Aid certification. Benefits for
