Position Overview:
As a Direct Support Professional at New Avenues to Independence, you will have the incredible opportunity to support and empower individuals with disabilities, helping them lead fulfilling lives and become active members of their community. ICF:
$17 per hour
Shift:
Multiple shifts available What you'll do : Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with disabilities in a variety of settings, including residential homes and day programs. Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication management. Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes growth, independence, and self-determination. Plan and engage in meaningful activities, outings, and events to enhance the quality of life for the people you support. Promote social and emotional well-being by building strong, supportive relationships. Collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals to create and implement individualized care plans. Collaborating with people to complete tasks and build independence in their lives. Providing support with daily routines such as personal care, cooking, cleaning, shopping and attending medical appointments.
Requirements:
What We're Looking For:
18 years of age or older Valid Ohio Driver's license with 4 pts or less, valid auto insurance Must have a high school diploma or GED A desire to make a difference in people's lives
