A Home Health Aide helps individuals who are disabled, elderly, or chronically ill with daily tasks, such as dressing, washing, and light housekeeping. They can care for patients in their homes or other healthcare settings, and may perform basic medical care under the direction of a nurse or other medical professional. These roles typically require more comprehensive agency-approved training programs.
A Foundation for Living & Healing (AFLH) is seeking dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide hands-on care and supervision in a licensed adolescent residential treatment program . This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with youth, maintaining structure, and supporting emotional and behavioral growth in a safe, therapeutic environment. This is a 24/7 residential setting , and staff must be reliable, attentive, and able to respond to crisis situations when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 24/7 supervision and support to adolescent residents Ensure safety, structure, and compliance within the home Assist with daily living activities (meals, hygiene, routines) Support youth with behavioral and emotional regulation Document services, incidents, and daily progress notes Transport residents to school, appointments, and activities Implement treatment plans and behavior support strategies Maintain a clean, organized, and therapeutic environment Follow all state, CARF, and agency policies
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred in Social Work, Psychology, or related field) Experience working with youth, behavioral health, or residential settings preferred Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to pass BCI/FBI background check CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication and crisis management skills Ability to work flexible shifts (days, evenings, overnights, weekends)
Schedule:
Full-time, part-time and PRN positions available 7am-7pm 7pm-7am
Compensation:
