Duties:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up, laundry, and cleaning
- Escort clients to appointments or outings
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the supervisor
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation
Experience:
- Previous experience as a personal care assistant or caregiver is preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
