Job Description
Overview We are in need of a Spanish speaking Home Health Aide. Must be fluent in Spanish, speaking and understanding the language. You will work closely with patients of the geriatric populations, to promote independence, safety, and well-being. Duties Deliver comprehensive patient care by assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Support patient transfer methods utilizing equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices to ensure safe mobility. Provide home health assistance such as meal preparation, light cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment for clients. Communicate effectively with patients and their families. Qualifications Prior work experience in nursing homes, long-term care facilities or home health is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts. Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams while maintaining patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
