Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Direct Support Professional (DSP) House Manager to lead and oversee residential care operations for individuals with developmental disabilities, cognitive impairments, and age-related conditions. Duties Supervise daily operations of the residential care home, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and regulations Lead and mentor a team of direct support professionals to deliver high-quality personal care and support services Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and hygiene needs Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs, administering medications as prescribed, and recognizing signs of medical or behavioral issues Implement individualized care plans focused on memory care, dementia management, Alzheimer's support, and behavioral management strategies Maintain accurate documentation of resident progress, incident reports, medication logs, and care activities Promote residents' rights by respecting their preferences, fostering independence, and encouraging social engagement Requirements Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or residential care settings—preferably with seniors or individuals with developmental disabilities Strong knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's support techniques, memory care practices, and geriatrics Ability to operate standard passenger vehicles safely for transportation needs Experience with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, manual handling techniques, and safe patient lifting practices Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, staff, and healthcare professionals Certifications such as CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), First Aid, and any state-specific caregiving licenses are highly desirable Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist residents with mobility or transfers as needed Familiarity with resident's rights policies and compliance standards in long-term or home & community-based care environments Join us to lead compassionate caregiving efforts that empower residents to live fulfilling lives!
