Full-time Night Shifts Available Job Summary The Wright Choice Healthcare Agency is seeking dependable, compassionate, and professional Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) with current Medication Certification for both day and night shifts. The Direct Support Professional is responsible for providing hands-on support to individuals in their homes and communities while promoting independence, safety, dignity, and quality of life. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, patience, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to person-centered care. Responsibilities Provide direct support and supervision in accordance with each individual's needs and service plan. Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care and hygiene, as needed. Support individuals with meal preparation and household activities. Promote independence, socialization, and participation in community activities. Provide transportation to appointments, activities, and community outings, as assigned. Administer medications in accordance with current Medication Certification, physician orders, individual plans, and agency policies. Accurately document medication administration and required services. Monitor individuals for changes in health, behavior, mood, or functioning and report concerns appropriately. Maintain accurate and timely daily documentation. Follow individual service plans, safety plans, and agency procedures. Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries. Provide a safe, clean, respectful, and supportive environment. Communicate effectively with individuals, families, supervisors, and other members of the care team. Qualifications Current Medication Administration Certification or Medication Certification required. High school diploma or GED. Previous experience as a DSP, caregiver, HHA, or in developmental disability services preferred. Valid driver's license. Reliable transportation. Ability to pass all required background checks. CPR/First Aid certification preferred. Strong communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and follow established care plans and procedures. Demonstrated dependability and the ability to report to scheduled shifts punctually. $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
