We are a fast growing home healthcare agency, that serves individuals with developmental disabilities in Ohio! Qualifications Proven experience in home and community care, particularly with disabled individuals Strong understanding of patient care protocols and HIPAA regulations Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation Certification in CPR and first aid preferred Experience with memory care and Alzheimer's patients is a plus Competence in using EVV software We are currently hiring DSP's in the Lancaster area for the following shifts: Part time Responsibilities Provide compassionate care and assistance to patients in their homes, ensuring comfort and safety. Assist with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Monitor and document patient health and progress, adhering to HIPAA regulations. Maintain a clean and safe environment, including laundry and light housekeeping tasks. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care tailored to individual needs. Summary As a Home Health Aide, you will be essential in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Reporting to a healthcare supervisor, your core responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, patient care, and adhering to HIPAA regulations. Your premium skills in patient observation and experience with Alzheimer's care will enhance the quality of life for seniors and those with developmental disabilities. With relevant skills in medical documentation and meal preparation, you will contribute significantly to the health and happiness of your clients.
