Job Description

Job duties may include
  • Provide direct support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or other special needs in a day program setting
  • Assist with daily activities and personal care tasks
  • Implement individualized care plans and behavior support plans
  • Facilitate group activities and outings to promote socialization and community integration
  • Administer medications according to prescribed protocols
  • Monitor and document individuals' progress and behaviors
  • Ideal candidate should be willing to substitute for NMT transportation driver when needed. (REQUIRED) Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or similar conditions
  • Knowledge of person-centered approaches and behavior management techniques
  • Ability to provide compassionate care and support to individuals with diverse needs
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, their families, and the interdisciplinary team
  • Ability to follow protocols for medication administration and documentation
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules
  • CPR and First Aid certification (offered by the company)
  • Valid driver's license (required)
