Job Description
Job duties may include
- Provide direct support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or other special needs in a day program setting
- Assist with daily activities and personal care tasks
- Implement individualized care plans and behavior support plans
- Facilitate group activities and outings to promote socialization and community integration
- Administer medications according to prescribed protocols
- Monitor and document individuals' progress and behaviors
- Ideal candidate should be willing to substitute for NMT transportation driver when needed. (REQUIRED) Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or similar conditions
- Knowledge of person-centered approaches and behavior management techniques
- Ability to provide compassionate care and support to individuals with diverse needs
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, their families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Ability to follow protocols for medication administration and documentation
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules
- CPR and First Aid certification (offered by the company)
- Valid driver's license (required)
