Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced caregiver to provide personal care assistance to a male senior in his home at Marion Towers area. This schedule would be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-12pm on both days. We do have an issue in this case with bed bugs occasionally being spotted. We can provide booties for feet protection and are still working to try and remedy the problem. The main need for him is to help him get his morning shower and wash his back, and can go down with him to get breakfast. We are looking for a dependable and caring person, and can get you more hours as we get them.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of experience as a caregiver Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must be reliable and have a positive attitude

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and light housekeeping Prepare meals and snacks Run errands as needed Provide companionship and emotional support Monitor the client's health and well-being Report any changes in the client's condition to the supervisor
