The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality care to seniors and individuals with disabilities, fostering a safe and supportive environment. All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion post-offer health screening and physical including TB testing / clearance. In accordance with state regulations." Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Monitor and report changes in clients' health status through patient observation. medications reminders, as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of medication administration. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, enhancing their quality of life. Assist with light housekeeping duties such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry to maintain a safe living environment. Help clients with mobility, including lifting and transferring them safely as needed. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans. Skills Strong caregiving skills with a focus on patient observation and senior care. Knowledge of home care practices and the ability to provide compassionate support. Familiarity with medication administration protocols and CPR certification is preferred. Ability to lift clients safely and assist them with mobility challenges. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals tailored to client dietary needs. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain client privacy and confidentiality.
