JOB SUMMARY
Delivers direct/indirect patient care to patients of all ages from neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult to geriatric under the supervision of a registered nurse and or licensed practical nurse. Demonstrates critical thinking to assure the delivery of safe, quality age specific care. Documents accurately and in a timely manner. Communicates and collaborates with other healthcare team members. Adheres to organizational policies and procedures; regulatory/ accrediting body requirements; and professional practice standards. Requirements Include High school diploma or equivalent. High School or Trade School students may be considered if their course of study could lead to full-time employment and they can legally work the hours necessary for the position. CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or MA (Medical Assistant Certificate) preferred. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification required.
