This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities, medical needs, and emotional support. As a Home Health Aide, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote independence, comfort, and well-being. Responsibilities Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature Support medication administration under supervision and ensure proper documentation of medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments, including memory care techniques and safety measures Facilitate patient transfers using appropriate methods such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts while ensuring safety and comfort Maintain patient confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA guidelines and safeguarding sensitive medical information Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe living environment Skills Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities or in assisted living environments Strong knowledge of home healthcare regulations and medical terminology Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for accurate documentation Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate personal care assistance Ability to perform CPR and First Aid confidently; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred Familiarity with medical procedures such as catheter care, wound management, and end-of-life care practices Physical stamina for heavy lifting and long periods of standing or walking; experience operating mobility aids like Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional home health care!
