We are looking for a reliable, compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team during regular daytime operating hours. What You'll Do As an ADS/VOC Direct Support Professional, you will work directly with individuals enrolled in Medicaid Waiver programs to help them achieve their personal outcomes. 

Engaging Activities:

Lead and facilitate individual and group activities at our day center, including life-skills building, arts and crafts, leisure, and light wellness routines. 

Community Integration:

Accompany and transport participants on community outings, recreational trips, and volunteer opportunities. 

Personalized Support:

Follow Person-Centered Individual Service Plans (ISPs) to support individuals with social skills, communication, and decision-making. 

Daily Care:

Assist with daily living activities (meals, light personal hygiene, mobility assistance) as needed, always promoting maximum independence. 

Documentation & Compliance:

Timely and accurately record service outcomes, daily billing documentation, and note any Unusual Incidents (UIs) or Major Unusual Incidents (MUIs) per DODD rules. Work Schedule 

Hours:

Monday

•Friday, approximately 8am-4pm 

Weekends/Holidays:

Off Qualifications & Requirements (Per DODD Guidelines) 

Age:

Must be at least 18 years of age. 

Education :

High school diploma or GED equivalent. 

Driver's License:

Valid Ohio driver's license with fewer than 4 points on record. 

Background Check:

Ability to pass a DODD-compliant background check and registry check. 

Certifications:

CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to complete initial training upon hire. Med Certification 1 or willingness to obtain. 
