In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, personalized care to promote independence, safety, and well-being. Whether supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors requiring memory care, or those in assisted living settings, your efforts will foster a nurturing environment where clients feel valued and empowered. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your caregiving skills while contributing positively to your community. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing for changes, and reporting concerns promptly Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA confidentiality standards Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary needs Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts and ensure safe transfer techniques during patient mobility tasks Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and sanitation procedures Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations and assist in updating personalized care plans Skills Proven experience in group home settings, assisted living, or home & community care environments Knowledge of patient monitoring, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and memory care techniques Ability to perform CPR and First Aid confidently; certifications preferred but not required upon hire Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and confidentiality Excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting with patient transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts Compassionate attitude with patience for working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges such as autism or other behavioral needs Join us in providing exceptional support that enhances quality of life!
