Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote comfort and independence Support residents with medication administration following prescribed protocols and safety standards Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other cognitive disabilities through memory care techniques and behavior management strategies Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with resident transfers while preventing injury Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and assist residents during meal times to encourage social interaction Maintain accurate documentation of care provided using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and communicate effectively with team members about resident needs Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and memory support techniques Experience assisting with ADLs and providing personal care in long-term or home & community care settings Familiarity with vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and safe patient lifting practices such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling methods Background working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments in group home or social work environments Ability to operate standard passenger cars for transportation needs related to resident outings or appointments Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in behavior management or EMR systems is advantageous Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to enriching lives through compassionate support.
